Terms of service
Last updated November 2, 2026. These terms are between your company and BidBud ("we").
The service
BidBud finds public bids, estimates the chance a price is the lowest from public bid results and your own history, reads solicitations into briefs and checklists, and prepares internal pricing memos and bid forms. It is a decision aid.
You make every bid
Every price, chance and brief is an estimate, not advice or a guarantee. Public data can be incomplete or wrong, and a brief can miss something in a solicitation. You review the solicitation, decide the price and sign every bid. We are not responsible for a bid you submit, its result, or a job's profit or loss.
Your data
You own the data you put into BidBud. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to your firm. We never use it to train the shared market model or to price another firm's bids. See the Privacy policy.
Your account
Keep your sign-in private and tell us if you think someone else has used it. Only invite people who work for or with your firm. Do not try to read another firm's data, overload the service, or copy the public dataset out of it in bulk.
Trial, plans and billing
The trial is free for 14 days. After it, the plan you choose is billed monthly in advance at the price on the pricing page, a flat fee: never a percentage of any contract you win. You can cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. We give 30 days' notice before a price change.
Review by BidBud reviewers
Unless your firm turns on self-review, a named BidBud reviewer reads each packet in review, resolves its flags with notes, may change the recommended price with a written reason, and clears it for your owner. The reviewer never joins your firm and never signs or submits a bid. Every view and action is in your audit log. See the Privacy policy.
Done for you (Desk plan)
On the Desk plan our team prepares briefs, checklists and bid forms inside your account as an invited member. We do not submit bids for you; the owner signs every bid.
Availability and changes
We work to keep BidBud available and correct but provide it as is. We may improve or change features; we will tell you before removing something you pay for.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
Ending
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. When an account closes, you can ask for an export of your data within 30 days.
